KCH Digital Storytelling Project Growing Strong Communities

Does your family have an interesting story to tell?

The Kyneton Community House Digital Storytelling Project, starting in term three, is inviting primary school students and their families to help create a digital time capsule that documents the diversity of families in our region.

Over eight weeks, participants will create their own unique snapshot of their family through facilitated creative storytelling workshops using digital tools to record their stories such as voice recording and video.

Our digital time-capsule will capture intergenerational stories, celebrate inclusiveness and diversity, recognise that families come from all different backgrounds and help foster a deeper understanding of our connection to place and country.

Once the project is completed, we will launch our time capsule online to share with the world at a special event where invited guests, family and friends get to preview and witness its uploading.

Participants will also take-home their recorded family story to treasure and enjoy. Be part of this fun, family-friendly and interactive timepiece that will live on for generations to come.

Meet new families and make new friends along the way. Thanks to The Family Learning Partnerships grant, this project is free for all participants.
