The story so far
Over the last year, a group of enthusiastic volunteers have created an incredible garden space throughout the grounds of the centre.
The main aim of the garden is to supply our Community Lunch team with fresh produce.
This edible garden couldn’t have come to life without the support of a grant received from FRRR along with help from our ongoing sponsor, Reform Landscaping.
The garden is intended to be productive, concentrating on fruit, herbs and vegetables.
Last year our garden not only fed our Community through the weekly lunch, but also contributed toward the Kyneton Long Lunch which fed 150 people!
We hope to do the same thing this year at the 2019 Kyneton Long Lunch being held on Sunday 27th October. Get your tickets HERE
This month we’ve been working on building a Hot Compost pile, building more no-dig garden beds so we can grow even more, and planning for Spring planting.
How can you help?
We are currently in need of compost and mulch for some new no-dig beds we are creating.
If you can help, please contact us on 5422 3433 or firstname.lastname@example.org
